Recently translation rights for Spirit House and Cold Hit have been licensed to a Norwegian publisher Giga Folag, and A Killing Smile, Spirit House and Pattaya 24/7 to a Thai publisher, Siam Inter Multimedia. Discussion is underway for more European-language translation.

A German edition of Zero Hour in Phnom Penh (Stunde Null in Phnom Penh) won the 2004 German Critics Award (Deutsche Krimi Preis) for International Crime Fiction.
